In June I was asked to bake the wedding cake for two close friends of mine. I was so honored! I am actually not that experienced in cake making and I know this cake is far from perfect but it is most certainly the prettiest cake that I’ve made. I was so proud of it. It was four layers and I used Dorie Greenspan’s recipe for Perfect Party Cake. I also made those flags and embroidered their names on it. Alas, the day of the wedding was insane and this was the only good picture I got of it.
